This listing is for the exact Green Epidote as shown in the photos above. Please note that this crystal was photographed in natural lighting. The coloring will vary depending on the kind of lighting.
Green Epidote, scientifically known as calcium aluminum iron silicate, is a member of the Epidote mineral group. It typically forms as prismatic or blocky crystals and is often found as inclusions within other minerals like quartz or garnet. The vibrant green color of epidote is attributed to its iron content. It is commonly found in metamorphic rocks and is associated with the alteration of minerals during geological processes.
This crystal comes from Guangxi, China which is not a common locality for this material (this material from this locality is also more expensive to source).
**This specimen also has Quartz.
